My research interest is the development of chemistry-based methodologies for labeling and functionalizing biomolecules in living cells. In particular, my research group is working on the creation of molecular tools for the selective chemical modification of intracellular proteins of interest and for the comprehensive identification of the proteome. More recently, we are also developing lipid labeling methods specific to intracellular organelles.
